Wendler Engineering Services Inc.

Dixon - David A. Weber of Wendler Engineering Services, Inc., was selected by the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE) as one of two recipients statewide of the Professional Engineering Management Award.

Historically, Wendler has gone by several names in the past.  Here is the abbreviated history:

• 1968 - Transportation & Development Engineers, Inc.
• 1972 - Wendler, Sullivan & Associates, Inc.
• 1973 - Harold P. Wendler & Associates, Inc.
• 1990 - Wendler Engineering & Surveying, Inc.
• 2001 - Wendler Engineering Services, Inc.

Wendler received a Merit award from Consulting Engineers Council of Illinois at the 2003 Engineering Excellence Awards Program for its engineering achievement in designing the covered bridge of Whiteside County.
